There are two types of connectors &#8211; Male RJ45 connector(<strong>plug<\/strong>) and Female RJ45 socket(<strong>jack<\/strong>):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Male RJ45 connector<\/strong> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <strong>\u00a0Female RJ45 socket<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elplanbg.com\/EN\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Plug_and_jack.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-153 aligncenter\" title=\"Plug_and_jack\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.elplanbg.com\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Plug_and_jack.jpg\" width=\"377\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.elplanbg.com\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Plug_and_jack.jpg 377w, http:\/\/www.elplanbg.com\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Plug_and_jack-300x125.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 377px) 100vw, 377px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Male RJ45 connectors \u00a0most recently are used in patch cables and Female RJ45 sockets are used in telecommunication outlets and in patch panels.\u00a0According to Structured Cabling standards EIA\/TIA\u00a0 568, ISO\/IEC 11801 or EN 50173 both ends of the cabling must be terminated on the same pins. To this end, the pairs, pins and their colours are standardised. There are two permitted versions:\u00a0 <strong>EIA\/TIA 568A<\/strong> and <strong>EIA\/TIA 568B<\/strong>, these are only different in the pair termination layout. This cable is known as &#8220;<strong>crossed cable<\/strong>&#8220;.
