Design of CATV and SAT TV

1.Cabel colective television systems ( CATV ) – Satellite television signal have recived by central equipment (recivers) after that it have been modulated in frequency range from 40 to 862 MHz . To transmite signals for fisical laeyr is used coax cabel 75 Ohms.

Elements of CATV:

• Satellite part (dishes, quads cabels) .
• Resivers (central station)
• Modulators.
• Amplifiers (compensate or not compensate).
• Spliters and TAPs .
• Coaxial cabel .
• F- conectors and couplers.
• TV outlets.

2.Satellite television (SAT TV) – The difference between CATV and SAT TV is that satelite signal (up to 2GHz) is directly supplyed to the end user who choose what kinde of reciver to use.
Elements of SAT TV:

• Satellite dish.
• Convertor LNB (Low Noise Block).
• Coaxial cabel.
• Amplifiers (up to 2000 MHz ).
• Multiswitches .
• Spliters (up to 2000 MHz ).
• F- connectors.
• SAT/FM outlets.
• Satellite reciver.
